We're off again after a longer than usual time bound to our own shores. We've purchased tickets at prices too good to be refused, and made our accommodation arrangements through Air B&B for a trip that will take us from Venice as far south as Sorrento and Pompeii. We had contemplated going to Italy along with Britain on our honeymoon, but as planning progressed it became clear we would not have time for both. Suffice to say we've both wanted to go to Italy for a while, and we're both anticipating this adventure with much impatience.
Our flight leaves on March 22, 2017 and lands in Venice on March 23, 2017. Our plan is to work our way south from Venice stopping along a number of locations and ending our time in Rome after which will we will arrive at home April 14, 2017.
As you might imagine we will be updating this blog with the highlights of our travels, so keep tuned in!
